"Open to seaworthy monohulls 45-50 feet manned by two sailors."

The World's First Two-Handed Around the World yacht race...

Sailors from Australasia have regularly competed in short-handed events but very few have been able to mount an around-the-world racing campaign. The high cost and time associated with just getting to the start of existing around the world races and returning home after the event prohibit involvement. Now there is "Together Alone", a race like no other, sailed over six months during the southern summer.raytheon.jpg (81786 bytes)

Two-handed sailing is extremely popular, but never before has this group been offered an around-the-world race. Here is a chance for those who believe in themselves and their ability to work together as a team in a real challenge. A proper race, where there is more a stake than a hot shower and a few beers in the club after a few hours on the harbour.

BE THERE!
.

"A special bond will exist with all competitors in all divisions as single-handed, two-handed and fully crewed sailors fight for overall line honors in the fleet as well as class prizes."
